What is Gas fees and how to calculate it?

Gas cost (or GAS) refers to fees or price values on a blockchain platform. Users must pay to the transaction processor on the platform.
Gas fees on the Ethereum network can be calculated based on the gas price and the amount of gas required for a transaction.
The gas price is the amount of Ether (ETH) that the user is willing to pay per unit of gas. The gas required for a transaction depends on the complexity of the transaction and can be estimated using tools like EthGasStation or Etherscan.
To calculate the total gas fee for a transaction, simply multiply the gas price by the amount of gas required:

Gas Fee = Gas Price * Gas Used

For example, if a transaction requires 20,000 gas units and the gas price is 20 Gwei, the gas fee would be:
Gas Fee = 20 Gwei * 20,000 gas = 0.0004 ETH

Note that gas prices and gas requirements can change frequently, so it's a good idea to check the latest data before sending a transaction.
